Accessibility
This website is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. If anything gets in your way, tell us and we will fix it.
Our commitment
LiveWell Gainesville wants every person to be able to find a therapist, understand our services, and reach our office, whatever technology they use. We built this site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we treat that as a floor, not a finish line.
What that means in practice
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone. A “skip to main content” link is the first thing the Tab key reaches.
- Menus and controls are real buttons and links that screen readers announce correctly.
- Text meets the required contrast ratios, and the layout reflows to a 320-pixel-wide screen without sideways scrolling.
- Every meaningful image has a written description. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Buttons and links are large enough to tap. Focus is always visible.
- Nothing flashes, auto-plays, or moves on its own. Animations respect your “reduce motion” setting.
- We do not use an accessibility overlay or widget. Accessibility is built into the pages themselves.
How we test
Every page is checked with automated tools (axe-core) at desktop and phone sizes, and by hand: keyboard-only navigation, screen reader spot checks, contrast, target size, and reflow. The site is re-tested each quarter and whenever a page is added or changed.
Our office
The office at 310 NW 76th Drive, Suite B has a wheelchair-accessible entrance, accessible parking, and an accessible restroom. Telehealth is available for anyone who prefers not to travel.
Report a barrier
If you find a part of this site or our office that is hard to use, please let us know. Call (352) 900-3130 or email Support@livewellgainesville.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line. Tell us the page and what happened. The front desk forwards every report to the practice owner, and we aim to respond within five business days.
