Online therapy across Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina

Every LiveWell therapist offers telehealth. Same rates, same people, from wherever you are.

Receive therapy virtually

LiveWell Gainesville’s team provides telehealth by licensed providers through HIPAA-compliant, secure software for anyone in Florida, South Carolina, or North Carolina. You see the same therapists, at the same rates, from the privacy of your own space.

Why people choose it

  • Confidential therapy from your own location, with no travel
  • Access from a phone, tablet, or computer
  • Keeping the same therapist when you move or travel within the states we serve
  • Care for people outside Gainesville, including South Carolina and North Carolina

Out-of-state patients

Our therapists see patients across Florida and in other states where they hold a license. Which therapist can see you depends on where you live, and it changes as our team adds licenses and states adopt reciprocity. Tell the front desk your state and we will match you.

Questions people ask

Is telehealth covered by insurance?

Aetna covers telehealth in network for Florida plans. For other insurers we provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement, which varies by policy.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Your therapist sends a secure link. It opens in your browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. Chrome, Firefox, or Safari on a computer; Chrome on Android; Safari on iPhone or iPad.

What do I need for a session?

A device with a camera and microphone, a private place to talk, and a decent internet connection. Close other apps that use the camera. Wired internet beats Wi-Fi when you have the choice.

How do I join?

Click the link in your appointment reminder or email, or log in to the client portal and open your appointment. Allow camera and microphone access when the browser asks, test your connection in the virtual waiting room, then click “I’m Ready.” Your therapist admits you.

On a recent iPhone or Mac, turn off the camera “Reactions” effect in the Control Center or the FaceTime menu so it does not interrupt the session.

What if I do not have a link?

Call the office at (352) 900-3130 and the front desk will send it again.

Ready to talk, or still deciding?

Call or email the front desk. A real person replies, answers your questions, and helps you find the right therapist. A free 15-minute phone consult is available on request.
